Low fat chocolate chip cookies

  

Ingredients:

1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour

1/2 cup all purpose flour 

1/4 tsp baking soda 

1 egg white

1/2 cup granulated sugar 

1/2 cup brown sugar 

1 tbsp applesauce 

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp butter; melted 

1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips 

Preheat oven to 350F and prepare two baking sheets with wax paper. Mix together flours and baking soda in a large bowl. In a separate bowl whisk together sugar, butter, egg white, vanilla, and applesauce. In two additions whisk the dry into the wet ingredients until creamy. If the mixture is too crumbly add drops of water until creamy. Fold on chocolate chips. Drop spoonfuls of batter on prepared baking sheet for cookies about 2 inches apart. Bake 8-10 minutes. when done, let cool for 5 minutes. Place cookies on drying rack
